Valentine’s Day is a fun day, even if you don’t have a significant “other”. I enjoy showing others that I care. Here is a simple card that reflects that feeling.
Cut a piece of Lovely Lipstick cardstock at 4 ¼” x 11” and score at 5 ½”
Cut a piece of All My Love Designer Series Paper (DSP) at 5” x 3 ¾”
Cut a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock at 2 ½” x 3 ½” and place over the twine ends at the center to the DSP
Cut a piece of All My Love DSP that coordinates with the larger piece and attach to the Crumb Cake piece at 2 ¼” x 3 3/8”
Cut a third Piece of DSP that measures ¾” x 3” and center to the second piece of DSP (Use a piece that appears more solid)
wrap a piece of Silver and White Bakers Twine around all the pieces 3 times making sure the ends are in the center so that they will be covered when the card is completed and attach to the Lovely Lipstick card base
Cut out a heart using the Big Shot, the Be Mine stitched Framelits, and a piece of Whisper White cardstock. Stamp “Happy Valentine’s Day on the heart using Lovely Lipstick classic ink and the Meant to Be stamp set and attach to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Make sure to cover your twine ends. Add Rhinestones randomly. All Done!!
CASING cards is a welcome practice. I want to thank Wendy Cranford for this card idea.
