Isn’t it fun that Stampin’ Up! has a smaller daisy punch in the new annual catalog? I just love it! It coordinates so well with the larger daisy. This stamp set was one of the stamp sets I received at our OnStage event in April. It was so much fun receiving all the goodies we were given. I think this was one of my favorites. I thought it would be fun to make a gate-fold card to show off the daisies.
Cut a piece of Highland Heather cardstock at 5 ½” x 8 ½” and score on one side at 2 1/8”. Turn the cardstock around and score again at 2 1/8”. Fold and crease using the Bone Folder.
Cut 2 pieces of Garden Lane DSP at 5 ¼” x 2” and attach to the outside panels
Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 5 ¼” x 4”. Stamp the branch from the Daisy Lane stamp set across the bottom of the piece using Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink. Stamp the daffodil on top of the branches. Stamp a sentiment above the flowers. I stamped “Smile” from the Daisy Lane stamp set. Attach to the inside of the card base.
Cut a piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock at 1” x 11”. Wrap around the card to make a band. Trim and crease where you feel you have a good tight band but loose enough to take off to open the card. Attach the ends using snail adhesive.
Cut a circle from the Stitched Shapes dies (mine is about 2 ½” across.
Stamp the large daisy from the Daisy Lane (or Daisy Delight stamp set) 2 times and punch out using the Daisy Punch and stamp the small daisy from the Daisy Lane stamp set 2 times and punch out using the Medium Daisy Punch. Attach the two large daisies together (use a glue dot) and then attach to the outside of the card at either the top or the bottom (Use a Stampin’ Dimensional). Attach the two smaller daisies together (use a glue dot) and then attach to the stitched circle (Use a Stampin’ Dimensional). Attach the circle to the Soft Sea Foam band. Add Perennial Essence Floral Centers to the center of the flowers. (You may also use Faceted Gems). All Done!!
