I created this card on September 17. I am still wanting sunshine and heat, but alas, fall is coming. I do love the fall season because it means more time in the house and the fireplace going, but it is hard to let go of the longer days and warm nights.
This card makes it a little easier to ease into the new season. It is such a cute card and makes me happy. I hope it makes you happy too. It is one of the cards I will have for people to make at my Christmas Card Buffet December 7. Contact me if you would like more information about this. The best way to get hold of me is email@example.com.
Cut a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock at 4 ¼” x 11” and score at 5 ½”
Cut a piece of Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) at 4” x 5 ¼” (I used the one with the trees as a background. Attach to the card base.
Cut a piece of DSP at 2” X 5 ¼” (I used the one that looked like snow falling) and add to the card base about ¾” of an inch from the left side.
Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 1 ¾” x 3” and make a banner using the Triple Banner Punch. Stamp “Let it snow” from the Snowman Season stamp set and Coastal Cabana Classic Ink. Add some snowflakes from the same stamp set and same ink. Add some rhinestones on three of the snowflakes. Attach to the DSP strip using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Punch a snowman out using the Snowman Builder Punch and the same DSP. (Not every snowman is able to be punched out but you can get 8 from one sheet of DSP) Cut out a black top hat from the same DSP and attach to the head of the snowman. Using the Let It Snow Embellishment kit add a scarf and hands to the snowman. Attach to the card underneath the Let it Snow banner.
Add Snowfall Accents Puff Paint to the bottom of the snowman and heat with the Heat Tool until puffy.
Inside: Stamp the snowman of your choice to the inside of the card using the Snowman Season stamp set and Coastal Cabana Classic Ink. All Done!!
